Penhale & Roe

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026

Penhale & Roe (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we handle it, and how you can reach us about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

  1. 1

    What this website collects

This website does not require you to create an account, and it does not track you. The enquiry form collects the details you type into it: your name, email address, phone number, entity type, and your message. You choose what to put in the message field, so please do not include information you would rather not share with us.

We do not use analytics, advertising pixels or cross-site tracking on this site. We do not set cookies, and we do not store anything in your browser. This is a demonstration website: the enquiry form validates your entries in your browser and shows a confirmation, but it does not transmit or store anything.

  2. 2

    How we collect it

Only when you submit the enquiry form, call us, or email us. We do not buy contact lists and we do not collect information about you from third parties.

  3. 3

    Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry and, if you engage us, to provide tax agent services to you. We do not sell personal information and we do not disclose it for marketing.

  4. 4

    Who we share it with

We disclose information to the Australian Taxation Office and other government agencies where required to provide tax agent services to you. We may use software providers and a document storage provider under confidentiality obligations. We do not disclose your information for marketing.

  5. 5

    Tax file numbers

We handle tax file numbers in accordance with the Privacy (Tax File Number) Rule 2015. We use your TFN only for the tax purposes you have engaged us for, we do not use it as an identifier, and we do not disclose it except as authorised by taxation law.

Please do not send your TFN through the enquiry form on this site.

  6. 6

    How long we keep it

We keep client records for at least five years after the relevant tax return or statement, as required under the taxation laws, and longer where another law or a professional obligation requires it.

  7. 7

    Overseas disclosure

This website is hosted on infrastructure operated by Lovable Labs Incorporated (United States) and served from a globally distributed network, so the servers handling your request may be located outside Australia. This site loads no third-party content and makes no other overseas disclosure. We take reasonable steps to ensure any overseas recipient handles your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

  8. 8

    Keeping it secure

The site is served over HTTPS. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure.

  9. 9

    Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email or call us using the details in the footer and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your personal information, tell us first and we will look into it and come back to you in writing. If you are still not satisfied, you can take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

  10. 10

    Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date at the top.
