From $290 a month · up to 150 transactions · fixed fee
Books closed by the 14th. Wages right the first time.
Bookkeeping is the part that quietly decides whether the rest of your year is calm. We take on the monthly reconciliation and the payroll run so you are not doing it at eleven at night, and so the numbers you look at when making a decision are actually current.
Work out roughly what a month costs
Move the volume, set the headcount, and switch the pieces you want on and off. Most cafés and trades land between two and six hundred a month.
Wages, leave accruals, superannuation and payslips out before payday.
What you owe and what you are owed, listed at 30, 60 and 90 days.
Indicative monthly fee, from
The real fee is fixed in writing after a first chat — these are indicative figures for a demonstration site, not a quote.
Three weeks to hand it over
Onboarding is the fiddly part. We front-load it so the months afterwards are dull, which is what you want from bookkeeping.
- Week 101
Look at what exists
We go through your current accounts, the chart of accounts and the last three months of coding. Usually a handful of recurring mistakes are doing most of the damage.
- Week 202
Clean-up and setup
We correct the coding, set up bank feeds and rules for your regular suppliers, and agree how the awkward categories should be treated.
- Week 303
First full month run
We reconcile, run the first payroll alongside your existing process as a check, and compare the two before switching over.
- Ongoing04
Steady state
Reports by the 14th, payroll on your usual cycle, super lodged each quarter, and a note if something in the numbers looks off.
What happens each month
Same four thingsBank and card reconciliation
Every account matched and closed, with anything unidentified queried in one message rather than a trickle of emails during your service.
150transactions included in the base feePayroll for small teams
Wages, penalty rates, leave accruals and superannuation calculated and reported on time, with payslips out before payday rather than after it.
Up to 15employees on the standard payroll feeSupplier and receivables tracking
What you owe and what you are owed, listed by age, so a slow payer is something you notice in week three and not in month three.

Cash in, cash out, what is sitting aside for tax and super, and the one number worth watching this month. Written to be read in two minutes.
1 pageno appendix, no jargon
We will never ask for your banking passwords. Read-only access or exported statements are enough.
Questions we get asked
No. Small teams are most of what we do. The payroll fee scales down with headcount, and honestly a three-person roster is where getting the award interpretation right saves the most trouble later.
Not usually. We work with the common cloud packages and we would rather keep your existing setup and fix the coding than force a migration mid-year.
We flag due dates well in advance, but if something is missed we tell you straight away and deal with the catch-up properly. Late super in particular has consequences that get worse quietly, so it is not something we sit on.
The other three things we do
Tax returns and BAS
Individual, sole trader and company returns, plus quarterly BAS lodged on time. We reconcile first, ask questions second, and tell you what you owe well before it is due.
